As Sasha said :"....There are DJs who turn up, play records and make people dance...".I'm not one of those. ..I'm not a dj... Sorry ...i'm just a composer, an author, a singer,a sound designer , an arranger and a producer who create dancefloor records for DJs who know how to use them to enlight their sets, and charts makers , aka people ,to gives them moments of emotions,of love , of joy and serenity - I love Music...And music loves me... Since a long time...I never play in a club with turntables...But i love how vinyls smells...and sounds...The way i work by taking and mixing elements from across a full range of electronic sounds, from progressive to funky , from techno to deep house, from trance to ambient.,but also from rock to pop music, or from dub to reggae to compose and construct grooves and songs is givin' me , each day of my life ,the key for inspiration... .Is simple... Basic.... but it works.. At least for me..So many human experiences so many projects , so many releases gives me the taste for tryin' and re-triyng ,every day ,every kind of music with so different people from every part of the planet... I'm always been noted for being a generous guy who lives for and thru his ecclectism and his passion for music..... simply... and forever...
Then U don't find in my contact page a booking contact.. However i'm close friend with more than eight billions of dj cause i love dem...I give dem all....
I borned and raised in Paris, France...I grow up into a Mean Street Martin Scorsese 's stylee area...My first approach with music was my family...My father and my uncle were playin ol' jazz repertory with a beautiful Django Reihnardt guitar and a Diatonic harmonica... those weekly magic moments were unforgetable 'cause when i was touching those six strings , trying to play all i was listening around.i discover very soon that music was my language.....
I live in now South Italy near Naples in a very small town surrounded by mountains and humble people in a humble land called Benevento...I'm married there..And i got two amazing beautiful childs...Far from Chaos... Close to inspiration...
Some words about some projects i made recently
A and J " come Back to Me " on OXYD...That was my first collaboration with Alex Fain..I heard it at the BBC one night on Pete Tong essential... Wasn't believe my ears guyz......With Alex we made also other 3-4 cutz with always lot sof passion and fun.
KEY CORPORATION " La La Funkie" I sing that cut with part of Nerio's Dubwork members ,released on RISE in Italy and Scorpio in France ..That song gimme my first big success..Entering sales Charts with a supa' funny video mades in St Tropez... Tour, Clubs, tv and radio shows.. super moment of joy...That Disco Funky song relate a crazy session between talks , crazy singing and ol' funky disco flavours... Sort of disco to disco atmosphere with french slang american language into a bottle of Schweppes
There followed with a vocal collaboration for DJ SHIELD's NU FREQUENCY "808( why oh why) " on Sander kleinenberg's Little Mountain dutch label released in 2005 on numerous top 10 compilations around the planet.Acclaimed by pete tong, hernan catanneo, armin van buuren, and many more, single of the week on BBC1, that cut gives me the opportunity to reach a major audience with my voice.Selected on " 20 songs for Miami "pool on BBC1 radio for the Miami Convention 2005....
Just after that i rmade with close friends terry tam and 2020 that BEATCRUSHER project " what da f***" on Airplay-Ulm -Universal France..The song is become a lill famous 'and released on that bi-annual french dance compilation Techno.Com..My first electro breakbeat experience ...
Yourdee vs Tom Glide with DJ Yourdee ,a dutch friend ,for an amazing mix of all dance genres , from a poppy guitarish radio edit to some very progressive tribal or trancy mixes, in a double vinyl released with 9 mixes on and yet on 4 big compilations on ZYX germany.Acclaimed and played by Thomas Penton, Armin Van Buuren,Kazey Taylor, Don Diablo, Greg and Benz,Chris Fortier,Ernesto and bastian ,Perry O'Neill and many many more,..Released last year ( 2005) on Dark Noize recordings, a german Label who works hard and gives their best for the track...Thanks Riddler and ZYX crew... |
